Good news! The September monthly evaluation of the Jingling 2026 Top 100 Innovative Competitiveness Ranking of International Schools has been officially released. MIC (Majestic International College) has achieved another milestone — remaining firmly within the Top 10 international schools nationwide and receiving the prestigious 5A Innovative School recognition.

It is worth noting that in July this year, MIC (Majestic International College) entered the Top 10 of the Jingling 2026 Top 100 Innovative Competitiveness Ranking of International Schools for the first time. Just a few months later, MIC has once again maintained its position among the top ten in the September monthly evaluation. From its first appearance on the list to its continued recognition, this achievement is not only a significant milestone but also a reflection of MIC’s accumulated strength in educational development and innovation.

A single appearance on a ranking may come from outstanding performance at a particular moment; however, sustained recognition requires continuous improvement across every aspect of school development.

At MIC, educational resources, faculty growth, campus enhancement, student development, and close connections between families and the school are not separate initiatives. Instead, they form an interconnected educational ecosystem where each element supports and strengthens the others.

This continued recognition represents the collective achievement of many efforts working together.

The strength of a school’s educational resources is not only measured by how many high-quality resources it possesses, but also by its ability to transform those resources into meaningful growth opportunities for students.

In late July this year, the “Global Academician Research Workshop — Business Leadership and Corporate Competition in the Marketplace” successfully concluded.

Led throughout by Professor Enchelmaier, a tenured law professor at the University of Oxford, the six-day immersive English academic research program brought together outstanding students selected through a rigorous process. From topic exploration and teamwork to research thinking and final presentations, five student groups presented their research outcomes entirely in English and engaged directly with Oxford professors, developing their academic communication skills and critical thinking through authentic international academic exchange.

This was one example of MIC’s commitment to building advanced academic platforms for outstanding students. However, MIC’s focus on student growth has always extended beyond elite academic development.

In early August, the 2026 MIC Summer Camp successfully concluded. Over five days, guided by a full team of international teachers, students participated in immersive learning experiences across five core areas: English, Mathematics & Science, Psychology, Art, and Physical Education. Beyond the classroom, fencing and equestrian activities cultivated courage and elegance; visits to the Nanoscience Museum opened doors to the microscopic world; fashion design and floral arts inspired creativity; while swing dancing, water activities, and movie nights created unforgettable memories of youth.

As the new semester began, MIC continued expanding its educational resources. Dr. Li Jinkai from the Chinese Academy of Sciences delivered a special science lecture titled “Smart Health — Protecting the Beauty of Life,” helping students broaden their academic horizons in biochemistry.

Programs including the Australian AMC Mathematics Competition, American AMC10 & AMC12 competitions, business simulation competitions, EPQ project training, and IELTS preparation were also launched.

From advanced academic research to diverse interest-based experiences, and from specialized subject expansion to comprehensive skill development, MIC continues to enrich students’ growth pathways, ensuring that students with different strengths and at different developmental stages have opportunities to explore and achieve breakthroughs.

Outstanding educational resources require professional educators to bring them to life. Educational philosophies can only truly become meaningful student experiences through teachers’ daily practice.

Therefore, continuous faculty development has always been a key component of MIC’s educational mission.

Since the beginning of the new academic year, MIC has provided multiple platforms for professional learning, communication, and collaboration — from the all-staff meeting before the semester began, to various professional training sessions, and the Faculty Professional Development Day held on September 18.

During this semester’s PD Day, all faculty members gathered to explore the themes of “the art of teaching” and “the philosophy of education.”

From teaching strategies and educational approaches to professional dialogue and teamwork, each discussion represented an opportunity to reflect on educational practice and continuously refine teaching quality.

For an international school, the faculty team is not only the core force behind curriculum delivery but also the practitioners of the school’s educational vision. Continuous professional development enables teachers to update their knowledge, build shared understanding, and create a stronger foundation for the school’s educational development.

When teachers continue to grow, education continues to advance. When professional expertise continues to accumulate, school quality continues to improve.

Educational excellence takes place not only inside classrooms but also throughout the campus environment where students learn, exercise, and live every day.

Recently, MIC has continued to enhance its campus facilities. The newly completed outdoor sports facility G2 has officially opened, featuring air conditioning and versatile spaces including badminton courts and pickleball courts, providing students and teachers with a more comfortable and diverse athletic experience. Meanwhile, the campus boarding facilities have also undergone significant upgrades.

From sports facilities to residential spaces, and from learning environments to daily living areas, MIC continues improving its campus infrastructure. The goal is not only to meet daily educational needs but also to create a supportive environment that promotes students’ holistic development.

Every campus improvement reflects MIC’s response to the real needs of students and teachers.

When outstanding educational resources are combined with a well-designed campus environment, and when professional teaching is supported by better spaces, the value of education can extend more fully beyond the classroom. Hardware improvements and educational development complement each other, forming an essential foundation for MIC’s continued pursuit of educational excellence.

The ultimate purpose of education is student growth.

The vitality of a school is reflected not only in the richness of its curriculum, but also in whether students have opportunities to participate actively, explore their interests, and showcase themselves.

This semester, MIC’s campus has been filled with diverse and meaningful growth experiences.

Student Council elections, club recruitment, talent showcases, basketball leagues, and other activities have been organized throughout the semester. Through participation, teamwork, and public presentation, students have strengthened their communication skills, leadership abilities, and sense of responsibility.

The boundaries between academics and interests continue to expand.

Recently, MIC’s Culinary Club partnered with the Swiss Education Group’s culinary institution and invited SEG Culinary Ambassador Alexandre Morado to campus. Through professional sharing sessions, students explored culinary arts and international food culture, connecting personal interests with future academic and career possibilities.

From academic competitions to student clubs, from sports activities to artistic experiences, MIC continues to enrich students’ ways of engaging with campus life, ensuring that growth extends beyond grades and classrooms.

The Mid-Autumn Festival Campus Celebration further transformed the school into a warm community where students, teachers, and families gathered together. Through cultural traditions, interaction, and shared experiences, campus culture continued to grow naturally through authentic connections.

When students actively participate in shaping campus life, when interests are respected and potential is encouraged, the school community gains lasting vitality.

A successful school requires the collective efforts of many people. At MIC, education is not limited to the relationship between school and students; it extends to families, alumni, and the broader community.

Recently, Cambridge alumnus Huang Yixian returned to MIC with his family. Together, they shared their university application journey and family education experiences with students, teachers, and parents. The return of an alumni family brought authentic and inspiring stories of growth, allowing current students to gain firsthand insights into international pathways while helping parents better understand successful approaches to family education and parent-child development.

Meanwhile, the 10th MIC Parent Committee was officially established. The formation of the new committee represents deeper parental involvement in campus development and stronger collaboration between families and the school.

From alumni sharing sessions to parent committee initiatives and family participation in campus activities, the connection between school and families continues to deepen. Parents’ support, alumni experiences, and the school’s professional guidance together form an important foundation supporting student growth.

Looking back from July to September, MIC’s development has not relied on a single short-term achievement, but rather on continuous improvement and collaboration across multiple dimensions of school development.

Educational resources create broader opportunities for students; faculty expertise ensures educational philosophies are effectively implemented; campus support provides a strong foundation for learning; student development brings energy and creativity to campus life; and home-school collaboration provides lasting support.

These five areas do not operate independently. Instead, they connect and reinforce one another through daily school operations.

High-quality resources require skilled teachers to deliver them. Faculty development requires supportive campus environments. Student growth requires diverse platforms. And the sustainable development of education depends on the participation of families and communities. When these forces come together, they form MIC’s continuously evolving educational ecosystem and represent the comprehensive strength behind the school’s development.

From entering the national Top 10 for the first time in July to maintaining its position among the top ten in September, this achievement represents a milestone reflecting MIC’s continuous investment, improvement, and collaborative development across multiple areas.

Behind this achievement is the educational ecosystem created through the shared participation and dedication of MIC’s students, teachers, and families.

Looking ahead, MIC (Majestic International College) will continue to place student growth at the center of its mission, drive progress through educational innovation, refine its educational framework, and promote continuous advancement in educational resources, faculty development, campus environment, student growth, and home-school collaboration.

With a long-term commitment to education and collective strength empowering growth, MIC will continue creating opportunities for every student to thrive.
