Over the past week, the campus of Majestic International College (MIC) was brimming with a spirit of exchange, collaboration, and fruitful achievements. From the warm and orderly parent-teacher meetings to their promising debut on the international Model UN stage, MIC students have demonstrated a clear and solid trajectory of growth.
Last week, the UK and BC department of MIC successively held in-depth and productive parent-teacher meetings. These meetings adopted a diversified and personalized communication model. They included not only division-wide information sessions for all parents, where division heads and the university counseling team detailed the curriculum, academic requirements, this year's university placement data, and key planning points, but also class-based and advisor group seminars, allowing parents to engage in face-to-face communication with the core teaching team.
The highlight was the "one-on-one" personalized consultation sessions. Parents had in-depth discussions with various subject teachers and university counselors. Teachers, drawing on students' individual growth, classroom performance, and work samples, specifically analyzed their children's strengths and areas for improvement, and jointly developed targeted support plans. Parents and teachers held lively and in-depth discussions on topics of concern such as academic adaptation, standardized test planning, and extracurricular enhancement activities. The atmosphere was focused and harmonious.
Many parents provided feedback that this parent-teacher meeting allowed them to "not only see the grades but also understand the context of their child's growth." Through full communication, both home and school enhanced mutual understanding, built consensus, and laid a more solid foundation for the personalized development and future planning of the students.
The MIC Model United Nations delegation traveled to Shanghai to participate in the 2025 Shanghai Model United Nations Conference. In this grand event gathering many outstanding students from across the country, our school's delegates were fully engaged, strategizing and actively mediating within their respective committees. They stood firm in their positions while also negotiating flexibly, successfully fulfilling their "diplomatic missions" with outstanding performances, fully demonstrating the international perspective, leadership, and critical thinking skills of MIC students.
Their exceptional performance is the most vivid embodiment of MIC's "Holistic Education" philosophy.
