Recently, a delegation of experts from the BC Ministry of Education and Child Care, visited Majestic International College (MIC) to conduct a two-day specialized guidance and evaluation of the BC program.
During the visit, the expert team immersed themselves in the BC department, employing various methods such as classroom observations, discussions, document reviews, and on-site inspections to comprehensively examine key areas including curriculum design, teaching implementation, and student assessment. They also held in-depth discussions with the school principal on cutting-edge educational concepts, teaching practices, and future development plans. The team highly commended the school for its rigorous management, international educational model, and advanced, well-equipped teaching facilities, particularly praising the laboratories, library, and gymnasium.
The BC department at MIC is an officially certified offshore high school program, offering a complete BC high school education for grades 10-12. Students are enrolled in the BC program and are granted official BC student status upon admission. Upon graduation, they receive the globally recognized Dogwood Diploma. The quality of the BC curriculum is consistently ranked among the top in the world, and graduates can use their course results to apply to the majority of higher education institutions across the globe, including those in North America, the UK, Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong SAR, China.
Regarding faculty, all teachers in the BC department hold teaching certificates issued by the BC Ministry of Education and Child Care and Foreign Expert permits issued by China's State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs. They possess solid teaching backgrounds and extensive experience in international education, and their professionalism was unanimously commended by the reviewing experts. In terms of academic outcomes, the BC department has had six graduating cohorts to date. Notably, it has achieved a remarkable record of 100% of its graduates receiving offers from top 50 global universities for four consecutive years, with the vast majority proceeding to further their studies at prestigious universities in Canada, the UK, Australia, Hong Kong and Macao SAR (China), among other countries and regions.
This inspection served not only as a comprehensive review of the teaching quality of the BC program at MIC but also as authoritative recognition of the school's strength in international education. MIC will seize this opportunity to continue deepening its collaboration with the BC Ministry of Education and Child Care, further optimize its teaching system, and enhance resource allocation, all to support students in achieving even greater accomplishments.
