At MIC (Majestic International College), a series of in-depth study trips has been successfully conducted. Students experienced the "amphibious bus" at the BYD campus, appreciated haute couture at a fashion design studio, and operated drones at a tech company. This wasn't a classroom on campus, but the off-campus practice of BCBI (BC Business Innovators).

BCBI is a student-led association guided by business mentors. It hones students' commercial talents through practical projects, team challenges, and field visits to renowned corporations. BCBI has organized nine distinct study trips for students. From exploring the business ecosystem of restaurants at Florentia Village to delving into the technological frontiers at BYD in Shenzhen, their learning environments shift in surprisingly diverse ways.

"We aren't just 'visiting'; we are engaging in 'dialogue'," members of the BCBI Club define their study trips this way.

At BYD headquarters, students not only listened to a professional report on the new energy market but also engaged in lively discussions with corporate staff during the Q&A session. Carson Chen was deeply impressed by the visit to BYD. From the current state of the new energy market in Southern China to the company's history and organizational structure, and the experience of the monorail and "amphibious bus" within the campus, what he felt was not just technological advancement, but also an openness of thinking.

"What moved me most was the students' questioning session during the meeting. The exchange between everyone and the executives, teachers, and managers was incredibly active. That atmosphere, where academia and practice collided, made me truly understand what it means to 'apply learning to practice'," Carson recalled.

At an independent fashion design studio in Foshan, Angel Luo's experience was quite representative. "I used to be a consumer of clothing, but when I heard the founder share his journey from being an overseas returnee to an entrepreneur, I suddenly realized that I could also be a creator."

This shift in identity perception is precisely the ingenuity behind the design of the BCBI Club's study trips. Students are no longer passive bystanders receiving knowledge; instead, by facing industry practitioners directly, they become future creators activating their own potential.

"We take students on corporate visits not to make them memorize corporate structures or marketing strategies, but to plant a seed of 'I can do it too' in their hearts," a BCBI instructor expressed. "True international education is about broadening horizons and awakening character."

While organizing a visit to the Guoqing Model UN company, Una Tan Xianyou discovered the connection point between classroom knowledge and the real world. "When we learn about market positioning theory in class, it's just a few lines of text in a book. But when we heard the company analyze the family backgrounds and consumption concepts of target users, the theory suddenly became vivid and powerful."

The BCBI Club's curriculum design follows the "Experience-Reflection-Construction" learning cycle. Before each visit, students need to independently research the industry background. During the visit, they engage in in-depth conversations with corporate representatives with prepared questions. After the visit, they internalize their knowledge by completing presentations in English.

"This process breaks down disciplinary boundaries. Students need to mobilize comprehensive abilities in economics, business, language, and social skills – these are precisely the core competencies needed for the future society," the program lead teacher stated.

The BCBI Club at MIC represents an educational innovation – combining the inquiry-based spirit of international education with business practices in the local Chinese context. Here, international education is not a simple transplantation of curricula, but a reconstruction of educational philosophy.

"We cultivate students to possess a global perspective, yet be rooted in Chinese culture; to respect universal values, yet be able to understand local wisdom." This educational philosophy of "Glocalization" runs through the design of every study trip.

From the cultural expression of new Chinese-style clothing to BYD's global strategy, students construct a multi-dimensional understanding of China and the world within diverse scenarios.

When education steps beyond the classroom walls, the possibilities for learning expand infinitely. What the BCBI Club provides is not just nine corporate visits, but a growth ecosystem that continuously stimulates student potential. "Through these experiences, what I learned wasn't just business knowledge, but also how to communicate with people from different backgrounds, how to ask profound questions, and how to turn ideas into action," shared one student.

This is precisely the educational pursuit of MIC – to cultivate independent thinkers who can confidently face the future world, within real-world social scenarios.

When the classroom has no boundaries, growth will naturally find its direction.
